a move straight from the training ground. A free kick 25 yards out is taken by
Manson. He knocked it short to Martin Gunn who turned and shot and the ball
flies over the top of keeper Gray to bulge the net.

5 minutes to half-time Shaun Sinclair is booked late tackle just
outside 18 yard box on Kennedy. Sam Mackay takes the
free-kick but puts it wide of target.
With only two minutes of play left in the first-half Graham Munro
is booked for a late tackle on Bryan McKiddie at the corner flag. The free kick
is taken by Richard Macadie and Stewart Ross gets a toe to it to send the ball over
the top of keeper Gray and just under the bar.

Academy make their first change in the 70th minute
with Alan Sinclair coming off for Murray Coghill.
With 78 minutes played Bryan McKiddie has a shot on target
from 18 yards out that keeper Gray saves.
2 minutes later substitute Coghill has another shot at goal that is
again saved by Gray but comes out to Weir and his goal-bound shot from 6 yards
is blocked by Gary Macleod.
Academy run down the clock making 2 more substitutions in
the last 2 minutes of play and come back up the road with all 3 points with a
well deserved win.
