End to end stuff and Academy are still in the game. Both
teams are playing really entertaining football, and both have had further
chances at goal.

Buckie have hit the wood-work from a Graeme Stewart effort, and Main
has again denied Martin Gunn with another fine save.

Gary Manson has also had a great attempt, breaking through
the Buckie back-line and shooting across goal from the edge of the box, but his
attempt went just wide of the target.

Academy have two more half-chances before referee Sim blew for half-time, with Richard Macdie and Gary Manson both having attampts that went just wide of the target.

Half Time 1 – 0

Within a minute of the re-start Buckie double their lead.
They win a corner kick that is swung into the box and resulted in a scramble with
Stephen Bruce getting the final touch to push it over the line from close range.

2 – 0

Academy are still battling away, and chances are continuing to come, but we just can't hit the net. Richard Macadie, Gary Manson and Martin Gunn have all been in on-goal again, but a combination of poor finishing and saves from keeper Main is keeping the Scorries from scoring.

On the hour Academy make their first change, bringing on John Seaton for David Cowie.

With 63 minutes played Buckie score again. Andy Low is played into the Academy box, and executes a nice back-heal pass to Stephen Bruce for him to slot home his second of the game. Martin Gunn was booked for protesting to referee Sim, as he thought the Buckie striker was off-side.

3 -0

More has made two of the finest saves you are likely to see this season to keep Buckie from going further in front.

With 7 minutes left on the clock Academy conceed a penalty kick with Stuart Sinclair taking down Mark Hamilton just inside the box. Stephen Bruce fired the spot-kick straight down the middle of goal for his hat-trick and wraps the games up for the Jags.

4 – 0

The game finished as open as it started, with both teams attacking to the end. Alan Sinclair coming closest for Academy with a header that went just wide of target. This one could have easily finished 6 goals each if all of the chances in the game had been converted!

Academy stay in 9th position in the league, but Huntly pull to within a point of us after a comprehensive 8 – 1 win against Fort William.
