Co-manager Ian Munro had this to say regarding the signing “Both myself and Titchie are absolutely delighted to have secured the signature of James on professional forms. He has been understudy to Don for about 3 years, and he has taken his opportunity very well in Don’s absence. His attitude towards the game is spot-on, and he has earned the right to be our number one pick in goals. During Dons reign there are two games in particular that I can remember, against Huntly and Brora, where James was called into action at short notice, and we knew then that he had what it takes to succeed at this level. He’s been playing with more and more confidence with every game he gets, and hopefully he’ll have a long and distinguished playing career with the club.”
