Davies first league involvement with Academy was on the 29th April 2000, in a home game against Fort William. The manager for that game was Peter Budge. Davie was on the subs bench, but didn’t play that day.

His first match action came a week later, on the 6th May 2000. This was Academy’s last league game of that season, away to Elgin City at Borough Briggs. Davie came off the subs bench to replace Mark Elder.

Davie got his first league start under manager Pat Miller on the 27th April 2002 at home to Deveronvale. The full team that day was:

Darren Strong, Andrew MacLeod, Gary Manson, Alan Sinclair, Stewart Ross, Craig Shearer, Nigel Mackenzie, Michael Bremner, Jamie Mackenzie, Davie Cowie, Mark Makhouli.

Subs: Ross Sutherland, Colin Davidson, Colin Banks, Alex Thomson.

Academy unfortunately lost that game 0 – 1 to the Vale.

Davies full League appearance figures to date are:

In addition Davie has also has 22 cup appearances.

Congratulations to Davie in notching up this mile-stone.
