Wick Academy Football Club
November 2006 – Team and Club News
Saturday 25th November:
Academy face Lossiemouth today in a battle to try and get out of bottom spot. Martin Gunn looks as if he’ll miss the next 2 or 3 games with a knee injury, but David Mowat is back this week, and Alex Lamb should be in the starting line-up.
Friday 17th November:
Martin Gunn was injured in training last night and is likely to miss the next few matches. David Mowat is unavailable for the Fraserburgh game on Saturday, but hopefully Alex Lamb will be available again for selection.
Thursday 11th November:
Alex Lamb has been back at training following the injury he picked up at Cove Rangers on the 9th of September. That’s good news, and hopefully we’ll see Alex back in the team shortly.
Friday 3rd November:
The Harmsworth Park has suffered with the heavy rainfall over the last few weeks, and the pitch is very heavy. At the moment tomorrows game with Buckie is on, but it may have to be postponed if a lot of rain falls through the night. There will be a pitch inspection tomorrow morning at 7:00am, when a decision on the game will take place. [Game is on]
Wednesday 1st November:
Graeme Reid has requested his release from the club, and this has been granted. In his time with Academy Graeme made 108 league appearances.
