Wick Academy Football Club are pleased to announce the appointment of Peter Budge as their new manager. Peter will take charge of the senior team when they return for pre-season training in July 2006.

Peter has a long history of association with Wick Academy FC including playing 22 games during their first season in the Highland League and having upwards of 15 seasons playing service whilst in the North Reserve League before that. Peter went on to manage the senior team between the months of November 1998 to May 2000.
Peter has built upon his initial management experience with Wick Academy FC through his time with SFL 1st Division Club, Ross County FC, where he has demonstrated an excellent level of coaching ability and man-management skills. His coaching credentials to date include both the SFA Youth Licence and the UEFA B Licence. These qualities were a major contributory factor in the selection process.
Peter’s passion and desire to return to senior football management was evident during all discussions the Club had with him. The Wick Academy FC committee are united in their view that Peter has the ability and aptitude to improve the team, and are delighted to have such a highly respected coach working with the Club.
