29th October
Highland League Fixture: Rothes v Wick Academy FC (Team News)
Wick manger Alistair Budge travels to Rothes today without Paul
McCallum and Alex Lamb but Shaun Sinclair has recovered from the knock
he picked up in the Fraserburgh game, and should be available for
selection. A win
today would see Academy over-take Rothes in the league, so lets hope
they can come back up the road with all 3 points.

15th October 2005
Highland League Fixture: Deveronvale v Wick Academy Fc (Team News)
Wick
will be missing Gavin Henderson(Attending a Wedding), Gary Weir (Foot
Injury) and Paul McCallum (Hamstring) for tomorrow’s difficult away
match at Deveronvale.
However Martin MacGregor is added to the Squad
along with Ex Thurso Striker Mark Nicol, provided WIck have him
signed up prior to the match.

Apart
from the absence of Andrew MacLeod and Paul McCallum, Manager Alistair
Budge has a full squad to choose from ahead of Tuesday nights tie
against Nairn.
Nairn on the other hand have a few injury worries,
with Keeper Campbell carrying an ankle injury from Saturdays defeat to
Deveronvale and must be considered doubtful, although they will have
the experienced Jim Calder to call upon if Campbell doesn’t make it.
Also carry a knockfrom the match against Deveronvale is Martin MacDonald who is rated very doubtful.
Steven
Edwards and Martin Sanderson maybe be suspended for the tie due to both
players receiving their marching orders during the Deveronvale match
although this has still to be confirmed.

4th October: Team news ahead of Saturday’s match at home to Buckie Thistle.

Manager
Alistair Budge may have to wait until the very last moment on Saturday
before deciding on his line up for the match verses Buckie Thistle at
the Harmsworth Park.
Jamie MacKenzie is rated doubtful with a chest Infection along with youngster Gary Weir who has a foot injury.
Paul
McCallum will definately not make the match due to an ongoing hamstring
injury that’s showing no signs of clearing up, and could be out
for a number of weeks yet.
On a positive note Martin MacGregor returns to the squad and is available for selection.

Manager Budge
hinted tonight that promising youngster Sandy Sutherland who has
been showing up well in training is ready to grasp his opportunity and
may start the match if Jamie MacKenzie is unavailable.
