A terrific performance from Wick Academy see them claim their first win in this years league campaign, and where better to do it but Dudgeon park. A good Academy support saw both of Academys goals coming from Jamie Mackenzie. His first in 30 minutes put the teams in at half time with Academy 0 – 1 up. He then scored his second after a great cross from Murray Coghill in 75 minutes.
Brora then started to come into the game for the first time in the match, and scored in 80 minutes with a goal from Conner Campbell. That set up a very nervous last 10 minutes, where end to end stuff had the crowd on the edge of their seats. Academy hung on though, for a much deserved win.
