Just kicked off at Christie Park. Don McMillan, Martin Gunn and Alex Lamb are all unavailabe today.
Huntly opened the scoring in the 11th minute. A long high ball went over the top of the Academy defence and Ewen managed to get onto the end of it and lobbed it over the head of More.

1 - 0
Academy replied in perfect fashion forcing a corner from the re-start. Macadie took it short to Manson who swung it into the box where Farquhar was unmarked and he headed home.

1 - 1

Academy are playing pretty well and Farquhar has a shot across cross goal that whistled just wide of target.

Huntly regain the advantage in the 21st minute. A ball is cut across goal from the bye-line and Lombardi is perfectly positioned to slot home.

2 - 1

Just before half time Academy again show their fighting qualities as they once more level the scores. Macadie managed to beat the off-side trap and raced through the Huntly defence before squaring to MacKenzie and he made no mistake hammering home.

2 - 2

With a minute of injury time played Weir almost put the Scorries ahead but his 18 yard pile-driver whistled inches over the top of Ross Bremner's cross-bar.

Half time 2 - 2

Academy got the second half off to the perfect start. A high ball caught out the Huntly defence and fell nicely to Macadie. He composed himself and fired his right foot shot into the left hand corner of Bremner's net from 16 yards out.

2 - 3

Academy are playing some great stuff and Macadie has got behind the Huntly defence a few times but hasn't managed to convert.

Huntly are starting to apply more and more pressure with 10 minutes left to play but Academy are playing as a team today and are resolute in defence. Hopefully they can see this through to the full-time whistle.

Referee Potten blows for full time and Academy run out deserving winners. This is the first time that the Scorries have done the league double over Huntly and this win put us up into 9th place in the league, a point above Nairn who's game against Buckie was postponed today.

Full time 2 - 3
