Almost a full squad available for selection for todays game with Martin Gunn back in starting line-up and David Mowat returning to take a place on the bench.

Just kicked off on a bitterly cold day in Keith and the pitch is very wet. Academy have never taken a league point away with them from Kynoch Park, so lets hope todays the day! The best result to date at this ground was a 1-1 draw in March 2001 in a HL Cup game.

With 35 minutes played Craig Morrison opens the scoring for Keith. The move starts on the right wing by Wayne Mackay who crosses for Morrison to drive home from 8 yards out.

1 - 0

Academy win a free-kick shortly afterwards when Martin Gunn was fouled. Gary Farquhar steps over the ball and Stewart Ross hits a shot hard and low that is deflected just past the post for a corner kick.

Just before half-time Keith have another good chance when Dean Donaldson headed just over the top of Mores cross-bar.

In the last attack of the half Gary Manson won the ball in midfield. Stewart Ross called for the ball on the wing and swung a low cross to the back post but Keith Keeper Shearer got to the ball just ahead of Martin Gunn.

Half Time 1 - 0

With 70 seconds on the clock in the second half Keith doubled their lead. From a free-kick they worked the ball out to the right edge of the Academy box where Darren Still had a shot that was blocked. Martin Wood latched onto the re-bound and he drilled the ball home from the corner of the box.

2 - 0

6 minutes later Jonathan Watt delivered a good cross from the right and Wayne Mackay ran in un-marked to head home from 10 yards out.

3 - 0

With an hour played Morrison gets through on goal and More makes a good save blocking the shot with his right foot.

Academy then have a good spell of play. Farquhar played a good pass to set Martin Gunn on the attack and he played Craig Shearer in on goal but keeper Shearer makes a good save.

Keith counter and Morrison is again denied by More who makes a point blank save from the Keith striker.

Academy keep plugging away and their next chance came after Macadie scorched down the right wing and crossed for Craig Shearer but defender Nichol just managed to intercept the ball.

Academy then miss a penalty for the second week running. Stewart Ross is played into the box and keeper Shearer catches his leg to take him down. Gary Farquhar takes the spot kick and the ball rebounds out off the inside of the post.

Keith kill the game in the 77th minute when Walker crossed from the right for substitute Lonie to head goal-bound. More managed to push the ball out but it fell for Craig Morrison to tap in for his second of the day.

4 - 0

Controversy in the 88th minute as Keith go Nap. Fyfe is set clear into the Academy half and the lines-man flags for another Keith player in an off-side position. Referee Braidwood waves play-on. More saves Fyfes shot but the ball is not cleared and Darren Still picks it up and runs back in on goal and More brings him down. Craig Morrison fires the spot-kick past Mores right hand for his hat-trick.
