Manager Don Cowie was appointed in May 1995. He has a fine reputation among the football folk throughout the North.
Brought up in Helmsdale he made his debut for Brora Rangers as a teenager be fore continuing his playing career with Clachnacuddin and latterly Ross County.
A stylish defender, Don moved into the management side of the game at Ross County as assistant to Bobby Wilson. There is no doubt that the work he did with County’s players and his influence on them did much to help the club to the success that saw them do so well in the Scottish Cup and earn election to the Scottish League.
After one last season as a player, back in Helmsdale with Bunillidh Thistle, Don Is now keen to taste success as a manager and has been working with the Academy players in the pre-season training.
To help him Don has chosen Alan Duff as assistant manager, Derek McAdie and Willie Beattie as coaching and training assistants and Alan Bremner to take charge of the under-18 team.
