Brora draw first blood in North derbies

Brora Rangers 2 - Wick Academy 1
In the first of the festive derbies it was Wick who took the lead on the stroke of half-time. Davie Allan fired a low shot past the keeper to the delight of the travelling fans. Martin Maclean got Brora back on level terms when he netted from close range before Ritchie Hart scored what turned out to be the winner with a 30 yard free-kick, the kick seemed to take a slight deflection on its way into the net.

Formartine United 1 - Inverurie Locos 1
Formartine had to come from behind to share the spoils at home to Inverurie. The away side had the better of the chances in the first half but had to wait until just after half-time to take the lead, John Maitland's effort hit the bar but Martin Bavidge was on hand to net the rebound. Formartine equalised with five minutes to go, Calum Bagshaw set up Neil McVitie to net.

Nairn County 3 - Forres Mechanics 1
Nairn took the lead at home to Forres in the 17th minute when Stuart Leslie set up Conor Gethins to tap home. Four minutes before half-time Forres were level, the Nairn keeper could only parry Stuart Soane's shot and Ryan MacKintosh rammed the ball home. Gethins put Nairn back in front from the penalty spot before Archie MacPhee completed the scoring five minutes from time with a shot from 25 yards.

Buckie Thistle 4 - Lossiemouth 0
Buckie took the lead in the 4th minute when Aaron Conway netted from the penalty spot. In the 10th minute Shawn Wood doubled the score before they were reduced to 10 men when Lewis MacKinnon was sent off. This did not stop Buckie and Liam Baxter added a third in the 71st minute before Conway completed the scoring with a strike from 30 yards.

Turriff United 0 - Deveronvale 4
Deveronvale opened the scoring away to Turriff in the 26th minute when Craig Simpson volleyed home. Just before the hour Simpson added his and Vale's second, minutes later Martin Charlesworth rounded the keeper to net. Simpson added his third to complete the scoring when Charlesworth set him up.

Huntly 3 - Keith 1
Huntly took the lead in the second minute at home to Keith when Russell Guild headed home a corner. In the 28th minute Guild added a second when he struck from 18 yards. Just a minute later Bruce Milne pulled one back for Keith but Marek Madle added a third late on with a well placed header.
Fraserburgh A - Cove Rangers A
The game between Fraserburgh and Cove was abandoned at half-time with Cove leading 2-0 with a double from Connor Scully.

Clachnacuddin P - Fort William P
The game between Clach and Fort William was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
