Winter kicks in only 3 games beat the freeze
Brora Rangers 4 - Nairn County 3
In a repeat of the North of Scotland Cup Final Brora once again came out on top against Nairn, the home side opened the scoring in the 11th minute when Grant Munro tapped home a rebound after a Steven Mackay shot had been blocked. Ritchie Hart added a second when he fired a superb shot from 28 yards into the top corner. Grant Munro added his second to put Brora on easy street but Conor Gethins converted just before half-time to give Nairn a lifeline. Zander Sutherland restored Brora's three goal lead. Stuart Leslie added a second with a header before Gethins added a third for Nairn from the penalty spot with eight minutes remaining but they could not find the equaliser.
Fort William 4 - Rothes 4
In the clash between the days bottom two Fort William and Rothes shared the spoils. Rothes took the lead when Derek Ramsay hit Fort on the counter attack and he set up Rothes' trialist striker to net. Rothes added a second in the 15th minute when Joao Rodrigues got on the end of a free-kick to net. Danny Mackintosh pulled a goal back for the home side just before half-time when he netted from Duncan Campbell's pass. Rothes added a third on the hour mark when Liam Forbes netted. Callum McIntosh added a 4th for the visitors with a close range finish. James Mackay got Fort William back into the game with a drilled finish. Mackay then turned provider when his corner allowed Andy martin to net. Duncan Campbell completed the comeback for Fort when he netted from 12 yards with seven minutes left.
Lossiemouth 2 - Huntly 3
In the only other game to beat the weather Huntly came away from Lossiemouth with all three points. Huntly took the lead when the Lossie keeper misjudged a cross and that allowed Neale Davidson to set up David Booth to net. Huntly added a second when Andrzej Kleczkowski rose highest to net from six yards. Huntly added a third when David Booth turned provider for Pawel Nowacki to net at the near post. Lossiemouth pulled a goal back just a minute later when the ball was knocked down for Liam Archibald to net. Lossiemouth added a late second when Jordan McBain hooked the ball over his shoulder into the net.
