Saturday 11th August:
Academy travel to Huntly today for a 1st round tie in the new SFA Challenge cup. A few key players will be missing today due to holidays, including: Gary Weir, David Mowat, Shaun Sinclair and Richard Macadie. It is expected that David Cowie will start today, and Neil Trail, Greg Shearer, Ryan Robertson and Shaun Henstridge will feature in the squad.

Tuesday 7th August:
The first draw of the new Scorries Scoop was made last night. Details of the winners can be read here.

Friday 3rd August:
Martin Gunn won't be available for tomorrows game against Lossiemouth due to injusy. Nigel MacKenzie and Mark Nichol will also be unavailable, but Craig Shearer is back from holiday and should feature.

Date confirmed for Golspie game

The date has been confirmed for the ITP NOS Cup draw against Golspie Sutherland. It will be played on Wednesday night 15th August, kick-off at 8:00pm. The venue for the game will be Dudgeon Park Brora.

Monday 30th July:
Managers Huges and Munro added the names of two more players to the squad today as Mark Nichol and Martin Sutherland both signed for the club.

Saturday 28th July:
The following players have signed new contracts: David Mowat, Stewart Ross, Bryan McKiddie, Nigel MacKenzie and Alan Sinclair.


Wednesday 25th July:
Academy play ICT U19's on Friday night in a friendly. Martin Gunn will be unavailable due to injury and Craig Shearer is on holiday. Managers Hughes and Munro are hoping to have a few new players on show though.


Monday 23rd July:
ICT are interested in signing Shane Sutherland and he is currently down there for trials.


Saturday 21st July:
Academy played a friendly with Ross County at Victoria Park today. The score was 1 - 1 with Gary Weir getting our goal. Martin Gunn picked up an injury though which could rule him out for the next few games.


Monday 13th July:
The date for the NOS cup game against Brora has been confirmed as Tuesday 31st July, 8:00pm kick-off.


Monday 2nd July:
Wick are home to Brora in the ITP NOS cup. The game will be played on Tuesday 31st July or Wednesday 1st August.

NOS Cup Draw

The draw has been made for the North of Scotland Cup. This years sponsor is ITP solutions and the competition is made up of 4 regionalised mini Leagues leading to two Semi Finals. 

District 1: Brora Rangers, Golspie Sutherland, Wick Academy
District 2: Elgin City, Lossiemouth, Rothes
District 3: Clachnacuddin, Fort William, Inverness Caley Thistle
District 4: Forres Mechanics, Nairn County, Ross County

Exact dates for the games being played can be agreed between the clubs, and the draw is as follows:

Tuesday 31st July or Wednesday 1st August
Wick Academy v Brora Rangers
Rothes v Elgin City
Clachnacuddin v Inverness Caley Thistle
Nairn County v Forres Mechanics

Tuesday 7th August or Wednesday 8th August
