  Brora ran out 3 - 2 winners of the first North derby match of the season

  Heavy rain overnight had put the match in doubt but a pitch inspection mid morning confirmed the pitch playable and match went ahead after a minutes silence was held in memory of Nairn County player Calum Riddell who lost his battle with a brain tumour earlier in the week.
